Future visions for our municipality
We believe in the cooperative spirit and in fruitful co-existence across the boundaries of age, culture and origin. There must be room for development, both for individual citizens and for the many businesses in the municipality.
Glostrup Municipality has drawn up a list of strategic goals and visions
Visons and goals
Glostrup Municipality wishes to be a dynamic, vibrant and green urban centre which is seen as an attractive and well-functioning place in which to live and work, and where municipial tasks are performed quickly, efficiently and correctly.
Glostrup Municipality intends to be a selfsustaining municipality, providing services which mark it among the best.
The municipality must also be an attractive workplace utilising modern technology.
Strategic goals
In 2012 Glostrup Municipality will remain an independant municipality which collaborates with other municipalities in strategic areas.
After the structural reform
Glostrup Municipality has taken on the new tasks which were allotted to the municipalities following the structural refom. We look forward to continued good collaboration with other municipalities.
We will retain a sensible economic development policy and a high level of service. Glostrup Municipality must be af flexible and adaptable organisation, capable of adjusting its resources to match constantly changing conditions.
We will ensure that municipial services always match the needs of our citizens and businesses.
